Hello there! I am an editorial consultant and content strategist, specifically focused on the food and lifestyle space. Okay, so what does that mean? I project manage tentpoles and series for media brands, help turn big/conceptual ideas into practical content, and help brands craft their voice.

I also write (examples: a personal essay on cake, restaurant menu descriptions for a national brand, sponsored content about getting better sleep) and edit (examples: lifestyle newsletter top-to-bottom copy editing, q&a tightening, cleaning up unnecessary jargon in talking points to the press).

I've spent my 17-year career working at the intersection of digital media and food, including at Kitchn, Bon Appétit, The James Beard Foundation, and The Huffington Post. I’ve managed large and small teams, and run brands with footprints both globally and locally. I have a Masters degree in Food Culture & Communications from the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Bra, Italy (yes, it's a real thing). My four desert island foods are cheese, pasta, beans, and potatoes—provided olive oil and salt are available in copious amounts.

I’m based in Washington, D.C., where you can find me cooking, reading, and trying to reach “Genius” status on the New York Times’ Spelling Bee.
